Трагедия случилась на озере в деревне Ковали Вилейского района.


 Об утонувшем рыбаке 6 сентября в 20.52 спасателям сообщили из РОВД. Вилейчанин занимался подводной рыбалкой. Вскоре мужчина заметил, что его товарищ тонет. Бросился спасать, но не смог достать его из воды. Вероятно, в процессе рыбак запутался в водорослях, из-за чего сбило трубку – и мужчина стал тонуть. В том месте очень густые водоросли. Даже спасателям с баллонами было сложно сквозь них пробраться.
